CREW’s Most Corrupt 2011 - Melanie Sloan Q&A
CREW's Most Corrupt Report 2011
Q & A with Melanie Sloan:
Who's the worst in Washington?
CREW doesn't rank the offenders, but this year there are some that really stand out: Rep. David Rivera (R-FL) from Florida, Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-FL) from Florida and Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-NY) from New York.
All of these Members have engaged in conduct that might even be criminal.
How do you make the list?
Every year, CREW goes through financial disclosure forms, campaign finance reports, travel disclosure forms and media reports to come up with those members who seem to have engaged in the most serious misconduct over the past year.
What can I do to help?
We hope you'll take a look at the report, and vote for the person you think is the most corrupt member of Congress this year.
Also, please share the list with your friends. And, if you see someone you are particularly worried about, write to the House or Senate Ethics Committee and ask them to take a look as well.
Also, you can always make a donation to CREW to help us keep working to build a better Washington.
